   Two friends + gourmet pizza + fine, authentic Italian food = Chris Dough's Pizzeria & Bar! 

Chris once ruled the pizza scene in Highlandtown, building a loyal following before passing the torch in 2020.

Henry ran a celebrated fine-dining Italian spot in Canton, winning hearts (and appetites) until 2008.

Here we are 2025. The two old friends, a few too many conversations about food, and one bold idea: 

 "What if we ignored all the warning signs, rolled our eyes at reality, and opened another restaurant?” 

 Grab a chair, this one’s worth it.

We originally opened under a different name — part of Chris’s old shops name plus L3, representing the three loves of his life: Luca, Lena, and Lola. It was meaningful. It was heartfelt. It was… short-lived.

About two months after opening, a lawsuit showed up uninvited (and trust us, it didn’t even order food). We settled, agreed to change the name, and went back to the drawing board.

After plenty of debating and a little head-scratching, Henry had an idea so wild it probably should’ve come with a warning sign ⚠️

Before Chris could protest, Chris Dough’s Pizzeria & Bar was born. 

We’re incredibly grateful for the love and support from Forest Hill, and we can’t wait to keep growing together.
